An intensive 6-hour workshop with Alessia De Bortoli
This immersive workshop at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica will be dedicated to the Trace Monotype technique, from the application of the ink to the printing of a unique and precious copy from a plate, both in negative and positive versions.
The works created with this process will eventually take form of a book using the Japanese Side stitch technique. This method consists of a simple non-adhesive binding and is an excellent introduction to the art of bookbinding.
